Identifying the emerging consumption patterns is crucial for retailers as they are called to adjust their market strategies in order to effectively respond and adapt to the new trends.

The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector has produced many of the tools and services used to support and accelerate digital transformation. The ICT sector thus forms the basis for the development of the digital transformation, as it is an important driver of economic growth, the creation of economies of scale and the increase in productivity and efficiency.
To reap the full benefits of digitalization, individuals, companies and the public sector, the main players in economic life, should adapt to the disruptive changes by expanding digital infrastructure, strengthening digital skills and intensifying R&D.
